2 Steps Forward, 3 Steps Back...

It seems for the past two or three months we have been taking 3 steps back for every 2 steps forward.  The simple fact is we have lost 2/3 of the raid force that killed Tythus & Xebnok and while good people have joined Ixtlan it's not the same.  The teamwork isn't where it was, the gear isn't there, the knowledge of the encounters is gone, we can't reliably kill Byzola, lets not mention that Tythus and Xebnok were once farm mobs, and the officers are tired of not being able to progress.

Ixtlan is NOT disbanding but we are no longer going to be raiding.  The plan is to come back and rebuild when the next expansion approaches.  We understand that there will be people leaving but if you want to stick around to group, hangout, and whatever you are most welcome to do so.

As for tonight (6/7/2009)... Stick around for 1 last drunken raid!

To the new people especially those I personally talked into joining Ixtlan... I'm truly sorry, I didn't see this coming.

Pyrella, our fearless leader... you're a hard-ass on raids but that is what kept us coming back, thanks for keeping us going!  btw... is it now safe to let you know that on some of your tirades I was LOL?

Recruiting Information

RoK cleared. TSO cleared through: Tythus, Kultak, Xebnok, and Rwnzak, Omzuk, Iztak, Nynzok

We were a raid guild dedicated to seeing all the instanced content SOE provided.  Sadly, during spring of this year ('09) through a series of unfortunate & unrelated events we lost 2/3 of our raid force.  We tried rebuilding but the time has come to throw in the towel on TSO raid content.

If you are a weary traveler looking for a place to rest, group, hangout and have fun you are welcome to join us, but don't expect to be doing any TSO raid content with Ixtlan.

We hope to see you in the next expansion (velious?)!
